At this point in the semester we have lots of grades and you may have comments from our peers and the instructor about your writing and thinking but these alone arent enough to make you realize the value of blogging for a class! What we need now is reflection. The goal of this final exam which can be thought of as a blog about blogging and therefore an analysis of the entirety of our course content invariably ends up being a pivotal moment in your relationship with the class blog and course material. Ultimately Id like you to have a sense of ownership over your ideas a kind of accountability that carries over into your everyday life beyond this class. Here are directions that will help you complete this assignment: Begin by organizing and reading all of your notes from our very first module to the last. Next organize and read all of your blog posts and comments on Blackboard starting from our very first module to the last. As you reread all of this information begin a new set of notes critically reading your entries and prior ideas as if they were written by somebody else (or at the very least recognizing that they were written by a different you at a different time). Compose an analysis and reflection of the aforementioned materials into one succinct piece of writing (i.e. this final exam!). Below are some questions to get you started when youre finally ready to write your reflection. Feel free to adhere to each of these questions answering each thoughtfully and completed or go in a different direction: Are there broad themes or specific concerns that reoccur in your writing? Has the nature of your posts changed in the past six weeks? If so what changes do you notice and how might you account for those changes? What surprised you as you reread your blog posts? That is is there an idea or concept that you never thought of before this class? How has the course content and act of consistent blogging affect your everyday life? Based on the breadth and detail of your blog posts how does the complex process of globalization impact you? Explain how in detail! Important reminders: This assignment should be at least 0 words in length. Like all of our other blog posts it needs to be both reflective and accessible“ entertaining and thoughtful are also important writing and thinking goals to strive for! I rather read your translation of author ideas so please limit the use of direct quotes! This final is worth 16 out of 100 total points in our class. When youre ready to submit: Modules > Module 8. Course Wrap-Up > Module 8. Blog (Final Exam) > Create Blog Entry > Browse My Computer > Attach Word or PDF file > Post Entry. I will be attaching the sources we used throughout the class. in the chat
